Using Wallpaper to Get Creative With Your Space!

Wallpaper is a key trend we are loving for 2021. Thanks to homeowners becoming braver with design choices – our homes have become bolder and more expressive. Expanding our design choices allow us to create a unique space that is expressive and reflects our personalities and using wallpaper is one of the easiest ways to transform a space.

Whatever your taste, there is always a wallcovering that will please your soul. From traditional florals, full wall murals, tropical patterns, to contemporary geometric or animal motifs. Whether you’re creating a feature wall, covering a ceiling or decorating all four walls, these are the wallpaper ideas are worth trying. The right wallpaper can make a real style statement in your home. Today I am going to share a few of our projects that included wallpaper!

Breezy Staircase

This staircase was totally transformed with open iron balusters on one side and along the upper landing, wood stair treads, stately newel posts, wainscoting, and of course that beautiful wallpaper! The wallpaper puts the finishing touches on this project to give it that little extra personality.

Vintage Powder Room

Classic wainscoting breaks up the bold buffalo check floor tile and floral wallpaper in this bright and airy powder room. The vintage inspired cast iron sink adds all the extra style points in this cute space!

Lattice Wallpaper Dining Room

Framed panels of luxe lattice wallpaper create an expansive feeling in this open concept dining room. Additional windows bring in more light and visibility to the peak-a-boo mountain view.

Double the Dining Room

The existing dining room and formal living room were combined to accommodate an extra long custom dining table. In order to bring these two spaces together, the room openings were widened, support columns were streamlined and wrapped to match the wainscoting. A deep navy grass-cloth wallpaper unifies the two rooms into one.

Mixed Metal Powder Room

Metallic accented wallpaper, brass and nickel finishes & fixtures, simple wainscoting, and a creamy vanity cabinet, create a sophisticated mood in this Snohomish home.

Colorful Mid Century Home Office

This home office showcases a deep Nocturne Blue accent wall featuring 3 framed peel and stick gold medallion wallpaper design. The medallion design creates an fun and interesting contrast to the Nocturn Blue. The finishing touch on this space is the mid century sofa. The perfect shade of gold to complete the look!
